Restore the iPhone after a WLOC test

Restoring the device is a different task from restoring a purchase. This page stays available without a paid plan.

Stop the location test in WLOC if a control is shown. Then submit Restore from the Control Restore banner. A submitted Restore is not proof that the iPhone already returned to ordinary location behavior, and it is not proof that a target app adopted or dropped a coordinate.

On the iPhone, open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and remove the testing Profile if you need the local exit. That removal does not depend on a purchase.

Unpaid, refunded, frozen, restricted, and pending-deletion states do not turn device Restore off. Exact button labels beyond the Control Restore banner, and how long a device takes to look ordinary, are unspecified here.

WLOC is not a jailbreak. The current testing Profile includes a certificate and a VPN tunnel, and it does not require a separate third-party VPN client. Saving a target, Gateway acceptance, or a submitted Restore does not mean the target app adopted the location or that the device is already restored. WLOC does not promise to override every app's permissions, cache, or anti-cheat checks.
