Service Status

Official Worker status: /api/health
The current app uses the official https://wloc.app service URL.

Before Contacting Support

1. Confirm service reachabilityThe official service URL is https://wloc.app; /api/health should be reachable.
2. Review the setup URLUse the setup URL shown in the app and confirm it matches the intended authorized test environment.
3. Check external setup stateIf your workflow uses external setup tools, confirm their permissions, logs, and security settings before saving data to a device.
4. Run app diagnosticsA passing diagnostic means the service and setup path look healthy, but it does not guarantee that iOS or a target app will adopt the corresponding network-location result.

FAQ

Does WLOC directly change system GPS?

No. It manages coordinate profiles, setup-profile generation, parsing, and diagnostics. GPS signal, iOS cache, target-app permissions, and system behavior may all affect final results.

Where are favorites and settings stored?

Favorites, profiles, and settings are stored locally on the device by default. The public Worker is used for parsing, conversion, setup-profile generation, and diagnostics; it is not used to build coordinate history.

Can I use a custom backend?

No. The current app uses the official wloc.app service and does not provide custom service URL switching.
